Formula 1 drivers and team principals have once again teamed up to show off their photography skills and raise money for London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The 2016 Zoom F1 charity auction features a series of signed pictures taken by all of the drivers from the 2015 season that offers a snapshot into their lives and interests, as well as those of their team bosses.

Lewis Hamilton captured his dog Roscoe sitting happily in front of the Colosseum in Rome, while Daniel Ricciardo took a selfie as he enjoyed a break during a bike ride through the desert and Kimi Raikkonen snapped an mini ice hockey mascot his mechanics had fitted to his car’s antenna.

All of the F1 photographers have signed their work and the prints will be auctioned off at a gala evening at the InterContinental Park Lane hotel in London on 5 February.

This will be followed by an online auction of a selection of the signed photos on the Coys website that is open for anybody to enter.

Here are some of the images:

Daniel Ricciardo: " Being in the middle of the desert - it's a peaceful yet exciting experience. One that involved the odd camel too!"

Colosseum is an amazing place to visit as The Pantheon ????

Valentino Rossi ???? Legend hope he wins the 2016 Championship & kicks Lorenzo & his new best buddy & wing man from the last race of the season.

The nerds looking like proper Krelboynes.????

I share your MotoGP hopes

It's also where William Wyler shot the chariot racing footage for Ben Hur! A lot of people thought it was filmed in Jerusalem, but the Israelis were a bit nervous about that, where as the Romans were only too happy to oblige to lend the Eternal City to Mr Wyler and his vast production crew.

Some of Charlton Heston's racing opponents include Hamiltonious, Vettelini, Hulkenburgmasco, Perezio, Buttoninous, Bottasanio...........and in those days the Romans only had 6 or 7 horsepower to propel their wooden axle racers! And the horses had to make do with "one set of tyres" all the way through the race as well - no pit stops for a can of water and a bag of oats in Roman times either.....

4

And two famous racers for the Taurus Ruber team kept complaining about their horses and as a result they were forced to run a full season with mules when they were unable to borrow thoroughbreds from anyone...

5

Ps

I can't watch Charlton Heston without saying the Famous Planet Of The Apes ???? line !

6

I assume "CrashtorMaldonous" was the one that went flying with chariot wheels in the air. Then on the second lap he tried to make a run for it & fell fowl of the "Do Not Crosseus Trackius when

Raceous in Full Flowous !" ????

7

Bat Wings ????????

8

Yes GazBoy & guess what amazing error they left in film. If you slow mo the chariot race at the opening of the stadium (I assume in the old VCR edition) You will see an on old Mercedes Benz dark biue saloon with the old Bath Wing tail lights that you can see just in the distance . It was some film nerds who spotted it. I assume it's on some movie continuity error compilation.

Yep all the best to Val in 2016 season ????

Kimi Raikkonen: “My mechanics put little ball on the car’s antenna to make it look like an ice hockey player!”...

Sebee ,your assistance please - you like NFL - isn't that a football player?

I wouldn't mind hitting the single-track trails with some of these drivers. There are some pretty good locations here in Austin.

I'd like to think I could keep up with them, but I assume the reality is that I could not.

I can't tel you how interested I am in this!
