Senna IMAX tickets winners announced

Yesterday we ran a competition giving the chance for JA on F1 readers to win two pairs of tickets to see the BAFTA award winning film “Senna” on the BFI IMAX screen in London’s Waterloo.

To enter for a chance to win the tickets for the Thursday March 1 showing you had to predict the podium finishers, in order, for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, with the two winners chosen at random from the answers that matched James’s own prediction for Melbourne.

As ever, thanks to everyone who entered and we can now reveal details of the winners.

First things first, James’s prediction for the podium in Australia was as follows:

1. Sebastian Vettel
2. Mark Webber
3. Lewis Hamilton

And from the entrants who chose that same order, we are delighted to announce the two winners selected randomly as:

Tom Wilson

Jon Clark

Congratulations to the two of you and JA on F1 will be in touch shortly to confirm the details for tomorrow evening’s showing. Thanks again to everyone who entered, and stay tuned to the website for further exciting opportunities later in the season.

That awkward moment when your name is Jon Clark also and you think you’ve won something for once!! then i remembered i didn’t enter 😛

Thank you very much James, not the podium I want to see but probably the safest bet on form so far. I have my fingers crossed for Mr Raikkonen to maybe scrap to third..

Cheers James, much appreciated. Great minds think alike!

Let’s see about that in three weeks time :).

Drats! my guess was spot on.

James, I really hope 2012 is far less predictable.

I hope RBR and Vettel in particular, will have to fight fight fight for every point.

I hope so too..

Congratulation to the winners!

But sorry James, sadly you will be proved wrong on the 18th of March and will wish you went along with my prediction :).

As i said on the last post thought that would have been your guess James. Still sticking with my actual thought for the race itself 🙂
