Sebastian Vettel took pole position for the final round of the 2010 World Championship ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. It was his 10th pole position of the season and a record equalling 15th pole of the season for Red Bull Racing. The Red Bull Racing team goes into the final race of the season with two drivers in contention for the Drivers’ World championship, but their best placed driver Mark Webber has a harder task than he would have had if they had thrown their weight behind him today. Red Bull Racing clinched their first F1 Constructors’ World Championship at Interlagos as Sebastian Vettel led a 1-2 finish ahead of Mark Webber. Fernando Alonso was third and he goes to Abu Dhabi with an eight point lead over Webber. If he finishes second whatever the other two do, he is world champion for the third time.
