

Vitaly Petrov, Russia’s first Formula 1 driver, will next week take a Caterham F1 car around his country’s newest race circuit on the outskirts of Moscow. The ‘Moscow Raceway’ is located 50 miles outside of the capital city in Volokolamsk and will stage its first international racing event on the weekend of July 14-15 when the World Series by Renault comes to town. Caterham F1 Performance Director John Iley believes that with the package of upgrades Caterham is bringing to the car for Silverstone, the team is poised to become a “giant killer”. Finnish video game developer Rovio, creators of the best selling application Angry Birds, have released a Formula One version of their game called “Angry Birds Heikki”, dedicated to Caterham F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen. The on-line format of the app allows players to enjoy the game set in the backdrop of 12 World famous Grand Prix circuits.
