Pirelli promises a “revolution” in F1 tyres: more pit stops for 2013

Pirelli is hosting a press conference at its base in Milan this morning, laying out plans for the 2013 season and it is claiming a half second a lap improvement in performance over 2012. And the company president said that Pirelli intends to renew the contract with F1 after it expires in December and that he is “confident” it will happen.
