Next week sees the home entertainment release of “Rush”, the movie about the rivalry of James Hunt and Niki Lauda, directed by Oscar winner Ron Howard. The DVD, Blu-ray and Limited Edition Steelbook will be out on 27th January and we’ve got five copies of the Blu-ray to give away in our latest JA on F1 competition. Rush was a hit last year in the cinemas, with Daniel Bruhl and Chris Hemsworth attracting favourable reviews for their portrayals of Lauda and Hunt during the intense 1976 F1 season, where Lauda almost lost his life in a fiery accident. At the start of this month we launched a competition to all readers to predict who would be the first two time race winner in 2012. The winner was Tim Rochford, from Maryland, USA, who was picked at random from the people among the almost 500 entries we had who went for Alonso. In fact Tim went one better and predicted the second victory would be at Valencia. Bravo! He wins a very special prize. A new company has been More…

As we’ve come to expect with our readers, there were many, many people who were within a few tenths, even hundredths of a second from the right answer. However most of you thought that McLaren would be faster than Mercedes, which is interesting. In fact Mercedes’ new update did the trick and Michael Schumacher set the fastest time of More…
