Top F1 photographer Darren Heath is launching his 2013 photographic exhibition; ‘Formula 1 – A Passion’ at Collyer Bristow’s central London gallery, opening on Monday February 4th and closing on Thursday 28th.

Following on from last year’s successful exhibition at the same venue, this year’s event showcases Darren’s best work spanning the years 1991 to 2012, including some stunning A2 and A0 framed artwork of Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Jenson Button and Damon Hill.

All work is available to purchase in limited editions.

The gallery is open during office hours and all are welcome to drop in. JA on F1 readers are particularly welcome to the Saturday opening event, to be held on the 9th February from 10am until 3pm.

Darren himself will be be there to chat and answer questions on the pictures, Formula 1 and photography.

So if you want to find out how to take the perfect panning shot at Silverstone, here’s your chance to pick up a tip from the maestro.

Cool. This guy is amazing. Love his pics

  2. Rob T says:

I wish he’d take the exhibition on tour.

I’d love to visit his work in Melbourne at the Grand Prix….

  3. Curro says:

    Great stuff for lucky londoners.

  4. Hendo says:

I’d like to suggest a readers poll:
Who has the best job – James or Darren?

    1. Random 79 says:

If you break it down then both James and Darren basically get to travel the world and show us what they see and experience, they just do it in different ways.

I’m sure they both think they have the best job, otherwise they probably wouldn’t have been doing it for so long!

    2. Mike from Colombia says:

James….what do you think you would be doing if you hadn’t ended up in F1?

      Please don’t say accountancy.

      1. James Allen says:

        I’ve never thought about it.

I didn’t end up in F1, it was always my objective since I was at school to work as a broadcaster and writer in the sport.

  5. Tom says:

How much is the entry fee please? And is it open to the general public?

    1. Gary Honey says:

It’s free to enter, but the exhibition is housed in the offices of a Law Firm, so you are only able to view it by prior appointment during normal working hours. http://www.collyerbristow.com/Default.aspx?sID=757&cID=893&ctID=43&lID=0&filter=1

Hope you get the chance to view it Tom

      1. That is a link to info about the 2012 exhibition. I cant find anything about this year’s show, including whether it is open on Saturdays – can you help, James?

      2. Gary Honey says:

Sorry, wrong link. 2013 details are at http://www.collyerbristow.com/Default.aspx?sID=845&lID=0

Like I say, it is only open during office hours, Monday to Friday by prior appointment.

  6. Gary Honey says:

Thanks for the tip James. Saw the exhibition today and there were some fabulous shots…..sorry to rub it in for those not able to view it. This one was my favourite http://www.darrenheath.com/search/node/Alesi
