    Interesting graph, buy I’m a bit confused. Shouldn’t there always be a line showing at t-0 seconds, that of the car in the lead? For example on lap 67 it shows Webber as 10s behind, but behind who? He was in the lead, Vettel is 2 seconds further back.

    He is behind his own average speed for the race.

    If there was a ‘ghost car’ that drove at a constant average speed for the race it would be shown as the black line across the top at 0.
