how come that Mansell’s Lotus carries number 15 on it – should be 12?

Number 12 belonged to Senna usually, or at least it was like this in 1985.
The McLaren in the picture belonged to Senna and it has the 12 on it (although I remember having also the 27 in memory of Gilles Villeneuve, and of course the number 1).

Yes Senna used #12 since 1985 and the Mclaren is his MP4/4 from 1988, but the Lotus is a 92 from 1983 and Mansell used #12 in 1981-84. #15 was Renault’s during the time.
