At the end of FP2 Mark stayed out and worked on his program whereas Seb came in for new boots and went out for a bit of a squirt. Lets hope they were both running plenty of fuel. Fiday practice can be a little frustrating at times.

Robert, Mark was consistantly a little quicker than Seb over long runs which he mainly worked on yesterday. This could be a crucial race for the title. If the Brawns beat the Red Bulls, it might mean that Webber and Vettel have to much to do, even though there car might be faster at Spa, Monza and the other remaining tracks.

The Brawns weren’t looking this strong on Sunday at Hungary. They cant afford to lag behind the brawns anywhere, especially where they will be strong given the higher temperatures. Vettel might have been unlucky not to finish in Hungary, but Its only Friday so don’t write them off just yet, as there is plenty of time before the points and prizes are handed out [...]

[...] Webber says Red Bull below par at this stage- They have had a couple of great races since Silverstone, but they still lag in the championship. Are you looking at something different than the practice results?

James,

I do not understand your comment, “It looks as though Webber has a couple of tenths in hand over his team mate Sebastian Vettel here so far.”

Vettel was a tenth or two up on Webber in both sessions.
